Betty was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Martin, and sons Gerry and Paul.
She is survived by daughters Teresa and Felicity, sons Liam, Andrew and Simon; 11 grandsons; 2 great-grandsons; and her sister Jo Cleall in Ottawa.
Betty spent the first half of her life in England before moving to Canada with her husband & children. They lived in Ontario and retired to B.C.
In Campbell River Betty volunteered for the Red Cross. Betty and Martin were avid Scrabble and table tennis players at the senior centre. They loved to travel and visit their vast family.
The family would like to thank Bonnie Franks for being a good friend and huge support for Betty and Martin. Also, many thanks to staff and residents at New Horizons for their kindness & friendship.
