Thorne, Bernice M. (nee LaFleche) born January 06, 1927, passed away on November 20, 2008 with family by her side. Pre-deceased by Martin, her husband of 62 years on September 15, 2008 also her Son Steven, Grand-daughter Leanne, Grand-son Timmy and Great-Grandson David.
Bernice is survived by her three daughters, Jody Thorne, Susan (Ian) Bukta and Dianne Thorne. She is also survived by her four Grand-Children Jason (Christine), Melanie, Karin and Jeff and one Great Grandson Anthony and also the family “Kitty Cat”.
Bernice was born in Vancouver and grew up in West Vancouver. She raised her four children in Vancouver and Burnaby then moved to Campbell River in 1975.
Bernice will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many relatives and friends.
