Berry, Bernard Oscar

Nov. 2, 1924-April 2, 2011

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Bernie Berry, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife June, sons Mark (Tracy), Wayne (Elvira), Dale (Ann), and daughter Gail (Dennis), 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Bernie and his wife June moved to Campbell River in 1951 where he worked most of his life for Chevron Bulk Station driving fuel trucks for George "Shorty" Lawrence until he retired in 1978.

A love of nature, camping and the outdoors, Bernie enjoyed many years of camping and fishing with family and friends. His family especially enjoyed his musical talents of song writing, singing and playing guitar around the campfire.

Please join us in celebrating Bernie's life at the Halbe Hall on Saturday, April 9th from 1-4pm.

If you wish in lieu of flowers please make a donation
