Oswald,

Beatrice

Bea passed away peacefully November 6th, 2003 at the Campbell River District Hospital.

A teacher at Quadra Elementary for 23 years, Bea took a personal interest in each of her young students, and took pride in learning of their accomplishments. Lovingly remembered by countless, as their favorite teacher, she inspired many with her generosity, warmth and genuine care.

Bea lost her devoted husband and companion, John in 1995 and has dearly missed him since.

Proud and blessed to have her for their mother, sons Rob and Colin and their wives Colleen and Tina will remember Bea for her caring, positive outlook and above all her loving support.

Her sisters Pat Sewid and Sue Brereton will miss her counsel, understanding, guidance and companionship.

Grandchildren Carissa, Michael and Ryley miss their Grandma, but will always remember her love and patience.

“Auntie Bea” is fondly remembered for her warm smile, kindness and thoughtfulness by Leanne, Saul, Brianne and Arianne. Bea was admired and respected by her many colleagues and friends and will be sadly missed by all.

A service celebrating the life of Bea Oswald will be held at Quadra Elementary School on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, Bea’s family requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
