September 3, 1927 - May 10, 2020
Bastiaan Wilschut was born in Ridderkerk, Netherlands on September 3rd, 1927 and passed away on May 10th, 2020 in Campbell River Hospital.
A career banker, he retired from the Royal Bank of Canada in 1983. He was an avid gardener and devoted soccer fan.
He was greatly respected and will be deeply missed by friends and family.
Bastiaan is predeceased by his first wife Terry Wilschut (1997), and is survived by his second wife Frances, sons Michael and Jeff (Gabriele), grandchildren Simon, Sabrina, Alisha and Tristan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
