In Loving Memory ~

Barbara Lorraine Walker (Guldensupp) 85, born in Ida Grove, Iowa on November 22, 1938 left this world on June 22, 2024 in Campbell River, British Columbia after an unbeatable battle with Cancer.

She is predeceased by her parents Harry Claus Hans Guldensupp and Vivian Lorraine Gensler; her brother Harvey Loren Guldensupp (Jeanette) and her husband (Bill ) Clarence William Walker.

She was mother to six children: Deborah Lindstrom (Frank), Derald Walker (Julie), Darlene Wilke (Dave), Derek Walker, Darren Walker (Tanya) and Donald Walker (Katie). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Barb always loved to see pictures and T.V. clips and hear stories about her very multi-talented and adventurous family. Everyone is so spread out and she would always say when her soul makes it to Heaven, she will be able to float around everywhere and see everyone up close.

She was happy to see that All her children were able to come together after 25 years and say their goodbyes before she departed.

Barbs' home away from home was the Casino. She loved playing the slots but her favorite past time was playing BINGO with all her Bingo Buddies, good luck charms and special bingo daubers; dreaming about screaming "BINGO" and winning the Big Pot.

Barb worked as a Residential Care Aide for 22 years. She loved spoiling the Gang at Treelane Group Homes. She always enjoyed family functions, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Easter Egg Hunts, dressing up for Halloween, the haunted house, decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas.

She love, love, loved: holding the grandbabies and great grandbabies, Josh Groban, watching her movie stars, Price is Right, Hawaii, rainbows, thunder and lightning, lady bugs, crazy earrings and socks, red lipstick and nails, peeps and pineapple fluff.

The favourite treat she made for all of us was her famous Popcorn Balls! She also made great fudge and cinnamon buns. That was her true love language.

Barb didn't want a farewell send off and in lieu of flowers she would like you all to spend $20 at Casino If she can, she will help you win!

Good Luck! Watch For Dimes!
