Barbara Ellen Addison passed away January 12th after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her Uncle Rex Dickson and Cousin Bobby Dickson. She is survived by her loving husband Kurt Heese, parents William and Patricia Dickson, son Aaron (Jessa) of Red Deer, AB, daughter Angela (Pouyan), Prince Rupert, grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jhian and Sophia, brother David Dickson (Sylvia) and sister Karen, niece and nephew Rycki and David Adkins. Barbara was a kind, shy and humble person, possessing an incredible rational raw intelligence, who quietly and deeply loved her family and the people surrounding her. Barb was passionate about and dedicated to her career in the aquaculture industry and demonstrated an unflagging work ethic. She loved spending time in nature and enjoyed photography, being near or on the ocean, sport fishing, hiking, camping and gardening. Barbara loved life and had many wonderful plans for the coming years that were not to be. We will miss her until we are together again in the next world.
