Ashley Marie Baddeley of Courtenay was taken from us far too soon on Thursday, August 13th, 2015. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her partner Clayton Miller; her mother Violet Blair, brother Caden Coulter, sister Melissa Baddeley, uncle and aunt David and Kelsey Blankstein, grandparents Wendy Greenizan, Marion Armstrong and Charlie Perry as well as many other extended family members and best friends Erin Weatherall and Zack Lewis, and countless other friends. Ashley was predeceased by her grandfathers Bill Baddeley and Glen Blankstein.
Ashley was full of life, had so much compassion for so many things. Extremely artistic and poetic. Her talents were appreciated by everybody who had been touched by them. A beautiful vibrant young woman inside and out. She had so many hopes and dreams, so many plans to make this world a better place. Her legacy will continue through all the lives she has touched.
Viewing and visitation will take place on Saturday, August 22nd from 1-3pm at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, with a celebration of Ashley’s life at 3:00pm. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception at the home of Gail and Howard Gustafson, 4676 Cruickshank Avenue, Courtenay.
