ROBERTSON,

Ashleigh Patricia

July 3, 1983 - August 17, 2005

Our precious Ashleigh was taken from us on the evening of Wed, Aug. 17. We miss her so much. So many people loved her. Dad & Mom — Ian & Deline, brother and best friend Aaron, her special love Matthew, Matt’s family Lisa, Doug & Krystle, loving grandparents Pat & Torry Kier and Georgina Robertson all of Williams Lake, her cherished aunts and uncles Debbie & Warren, Trevor, Travis & Kim, Todd & Michelle, Bruce & Rene, Lauren & Glynda, Cameron & Maryon, Peter and her Auntie Debbie whom Ashleigh will now be with in heaven. Ashleigh had many wonderful, caring cousins — Brent, Jason, Kimberly, Taylor, Tristan, Ryan & Amy, Kristin & Tony, Kirby & Robin, Chad, Megan & Justin, Caylen, Jeslyn & Joelyn. Our family that couldn’t be with us during this very sad time had their own celebration of Ashleigh’s life all together in Williams Lake. Ashleigh has so many true and caring friends whom she loved to be with whenever everyone’s busy schedule would allow. While many people lose touch after their school years, these friends are as close today as they were on graduation day four years ago. Erin, Jessica, Christina, Ashleigh, Stacy, Andrea, Tanya, Cynthia, Mike, Ray, Dean, Damien, Justin. We’re sorry if there’s someone we didn’t mention, but you will know who you are. Ashleigh was born in Williams Lake. We moved to Ucluelet when she was 9 and to Campbell River when she was 14. We remember Ashleigh being so nervous when we dropped her off at Robron Middle School that first day, starting a whole new chapter of her life. Within a couple of weeks she had made many wonderful friends that remained close to her for the rest of her short life. Ashleigh was a member of the C.R. Killer Whales Swim Club and had a special bond with her coach Jacqui. Ashleigh loved school and had many great teachers at Robron and Timberline whom she still talked about well after her school years were over. Ashleigh was a huge Canuck fan. We referred to her bedroom as "Canuck Central" and her dorm room as "Mini Canuck Central" as the walls were filled with posters, pennants and pictures. She spent hours compiling scrapbooks and stats. She would be thrilled to know her favourite player Dan Cloutier was re-signed. Ashleigh spent a year living with her Auntie Debbie, Uncle Warren and cousins Brent, Jason and Kimberly in Kamloops while she attended Cariboo College. She was so looking forward to returning to Malaspina College with Matt to complete her Bachelor of Arts. Her plan after that was to attend law school in Victoria. Ashleigh worked at Tim Hortons for many years and thought the world of her employers Dave & Cathy Paquin. This summer she was working at Riptide Marine Pub and Salmon Point Restaurant. It was easy to become friends with Ashleigh and she had many new ones from all her places of employment. Ashleigh loved to dance and party. She lived and loved life to the fullest. We were so proud of her. We always talk about how fortunate we are as parents to have two "dream children". Ashleigh and Aaron are our pride and joy.

We love you, sweetie. You will always be with us.
