Arthur John
passed away peacefully on February 22, 2007. He was born in the district of Kelvington, Saskatchewan on June 30, 1918. In 1940 he and his wife, Roberta moved to Victoria, BC and in the 1970’s moved to the Campbell River area. They moved to Kelowna in 2006 to be near his nieces. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Roberta (Lowrie) and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter Doreen, his parents, and all his brothers and sisters; namely Bill of Kelvington, SK, Stella (Seed) of Rose Valley, SK, Grace (Lowrie) of Prince George, BC and Clara (Larson) of Summerland.
Cremation will take place in Kelowna at Springfield Funeral Home and the burial will be in Victoria in Hatley Memorial Gardens, with his daughter. The family would like to thank the staff at K.G.H., 4E and Emergency, for their kindness during his stay last fall. Special thanks to Dr. K. Oswald for the wonderful care given.
