Art (”Whitey”)

Whitey passed away suddenly on March 25th after a massive heart attack at work.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 26 years Dianne, their two children Jayne and Antony, his family in the UK and his many friends throughout BC.
Whitey and Di came from Scotland in 1981 to begin a “Canadian” life. He started working for Canadian Stebbins in 1983 and his travels began. He loved driving his rig and his new shiny red truck all over Canada!
For those who knew Whitey he was a kind-hearted, generous and well-respected man who was always there to lend a helping hand.
When he was home Whitey could be found polishing the paint off his truck and fifth wheel. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and jamming with the guys.
A Celebration of Whitey’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 8th at the Coast Discovery Inn at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
