TURNER Annie "Maude" nee Ellis

It is with deep sadness that our family announces her passing. Devoted wife of 56 wonderful years to Lewis Turner; mother to Leslie "Vicki" Turner (Bruce Wilson), Christopher Turner (Dawn-Marie), Tracy Lambert, and grandmother to Marlena, Jennifer, and Amanda. Maude was predeceased by her brother Stanley and sister Elsie.
Maude, always a writer, took up painting while in Ocean Falls, a passion she held until her dying days. A founding member of the Campbell River Community Arts Council, she spent every available Tuesday morning at the Sybil Andrews Cottage painting with "the crew." We would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Campbell River Hospital for all their attention and care to Maude in her final days.
A memorial service will be held for Maude at the St. Peter's Anglican Church in Campbell River on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM. She will be sadly missed, but her spirit lives forever in our hearts.
