Suddenly and peacefully on Sept. 8, 2006. Gladys Thulin died as she had lived, without complaint. Born in Saskatchewan; Gladys came to Campbell river as a child. Gladys had the distinction of being one of Campbell River’s oldest pioneers; she was also the daughter of campbell River’s first Provincial Police officer.

Predeceased by Clarence, her devoted husband and Clarence (Bud) her loving son.

She is survived by her son Robert and wife Yvonne, son Harry and wife Grace.

Grandchildren: Kenneth (Suzanne); Karen (Stu); Sandra (David) and Bruce; Dale (Lee); Mark (Debbie); Shawna (Darcy); Chris (Nancy).

Fondly remembered by her 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Gladys will be forever remembered for her wonderful smile, quiet grace and love of birds.

A Private Graveside Service is scheduled for later this week. If friends so desire a donation may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Society foundation, 381-2nd Ave., Campbell River, BC., V9W 3V1.
