Anna passed away peacefully at Sunshine Lodge in Campbell River on November 28, 2002.
Anna was born in Du*rrmaul, Czechoslovakia on April 05, 1925. She came to Canada in 1949. She lived and spent most of her life in Black Creek.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Peter; her children Elfrieda Aranason(Karl); Edith Carroll(Butch); Willi Neufeld(Kathy); her grandchildren Nicole Carroll, Darcy Carroll, Calvin Neufeld and Carla Neufeld; her sisters Rosa Stich(Frank); Gertrude Christl(Joe); Ria Tjart(Nick); brother Frank Thummerer(Marie); sister in law Justine Oswald. Anna is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her mother Marie Thummerer; Father Johann Thummerer; sister Hilde and nephew Siegfried Christl.
Anna will always be remembered for her love, kindness, thoughtfulness, the good cook, baker, seamstress and gardner she was, and most of all her wonderful loving smile. We will miss her.
Funeral Service was held Dec. 2nd at 1p.m. at the United Mennonite Church, Enns Rd., Black Creek.
Interment at Black Creek Cemetery.
