It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, friend to many and forever love of Ken Stowell. All who knew Anita will always remember her for her kindness, generous giving soul, love of animals (Dusty), and wintering in Yuma.
Our beautiful mom was predeceased by her parents Otto (1963) and Helene (1991), brothers Gordon (1942) and Leonard (2013) and step-son Jamie Stowell (2003). Anita will be forever loved and missed by family and friends. She leaves behind her two daughters Roberta (Brant) and Susan; granddaughters Alyssa (Lance), Tara (Kyle), Kayla, Mariah and Michaela. Great-grandmother to Blake (3), Gracie (19 months) and Declan (1 year). Brother Edward (Chris), sister-in-law Sharon and life partner Ken Stowell.
The family wishes to express a very special thank you to the warm and caring second and third floor nursing staff for making our mom comfortable.
We gladly welcome family and friends to join us in a celebration of our mom's life on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Oyster Bay Resort, Oyster Bay from 12:00-3:00pm to pay tribute and commemorate our mom.
