It is with deep and great sadness that the family of Tony Laderoute announces his passing on December 27, 2018. Tony was born in St. Rose du Lac, Manitoba. He moved to Campbell River in 1951 where he met and married his wife Fay. Tony worked at the Crown Zellerbach Pulp Mill for 35 years as a longshoreman before he took an early retirement in 1993. He took great pride in his home and yard. He enjoyed his green house each summer and was considered to be an excellent and creative gardener. He enjoyed many years hunting, fishing and camping with his wife and friends.

Tony is survived by four daughters, Susan Murdock (Tom), Violet Berg (Richard), Bernadette Laderoute, Valerie Merritt (Larry), sister's Yvette, Annette, Anita, brother's Leo, Edward, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Fay (8/6/34-10/5/81), and two sons Warren Laderoute (3/15/52-1/12) and Gerald Laderoute (3/4/62-1/81), mother Rosilda and father Ephrem and brother Olie.

Funeral service will be held at Suttons Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Address is 502 S. Dogwood, Campbell River.

There will be coffee and snacks at the Laderoute home immediately following the service. 465 Petersen Road.
