Aloha Jean Gereluk (Potts)

May 01, 1931 - August 29, 2012

Aloha went home to be with her Lord on August 29, 2012, at Evergreen Senior’s Home, in Campbell River, BC. Aloha was born on a farm outside Yellow, Saskatchewan on May 01,2012. She moved to Ladysmith in March 1948 as a teenager, with her father (Bill) and brother (Clarence) There she met the love of her life, Les, and they were married in March 1950. and started their family with Beverley, John, Marie and Bill. As a M & B wife she followed husband Les to Port Alberni. After 5 years, Bev and John stayed and married while Aloha and Les moved to Campbell River with Marie and Bill in tow. In Campbell River, Aloha ventured out of the home to work at Cinderella Boutique. Marie and Bill married and stayed, while Les and Aloha moved, this time to Parksville. Thirty years later the decision was made to return to Campbell River Mom loved life and found the humour in everything even if it wasn’t funny.

Aloha was survived by her husband, Les, and children Beverley (Bryan), John (Theresa), Marie (Chuck) and Bill (Shelley), 9 grandchildren and 9 1/2 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her father (Bill), mother (Francis), brother (Clarence) and sister (Dorothy).

A celebration of life will be held at Christian Life Fellowship on September 7, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, in Aloha’s memory would be appreciated.
