Alice was born and lived her 87 years in the Cumberland and Campbell River area. She was predeceased by her first husband Walter Parkin in 1950 and her second husband Joseph Bundy in 1985. Alice is survived by her daughters Isabel Parkin, Theresa Bollien (Heinz), Patricia Turner (Mike), Mary Stoker (Brian), Joan Grey (Jim) and Noni McMeekin and Belle Hilchey (Glen), 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and sister-in-laws; Isabel Walker, Flossie Hanna and Kay Smith. Prayers will be held from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 9th at 7:00 p.m. where mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 p.m. by Father William MacDonald, O.M.I. Cremation will follow. The family wants to thank all of Mom’s loyal friends for their prayers and support. Donations in Alice’s memory can be made to Covenant House, 575 Drake Street, Vancouver, B.C.
