Alice Glee (Sally)
Alice Glee (Sally) Griffith (nee Edwards) passed away May 28, 2007 at the Sunshine Seniors Care in Campbell River, BC.
Sally was predeceased by husband Thomas Pursel Griffith in August 1978.
Sally is survived by son Gary (Jeanette) of Port McNeill, BC, daughter Shirley Ann Clarke (Bill) of Iowa City, Iowa, grandchildren William Jr., Wayne, Kelly, Philip, Laura, and eight great grandchildren.
Sally was born at Denmark, Oregon January 25, 1917. In 1969, Tom and Sally, after a long career as a logging contractor, retired and moved to Nanaimo, BC.
Sally's great loves were family, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
Internment will be in Eugene, Oregon and a Celebration of Life service will be held in Bandon, Oregon.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC or the Sunshine Seniors Care Ltd. at 70 Jones Road, Campbell River, BC. V9W 2V1.
The family wishes to expressly acknowledge Lee and the Staff at Sunshine Seniors Care for the very professional and loving care provided to Sally over the last years of her life.
