July 8, 1954-August 7, 2013
Alex passed away peacefully at home with her family nearby following a brave struggle against cancer. She is survived by her brother Doug (Arlene), sister Judith Lawrence, and nieces Angela, Stephanie (Tony) Edroff, Jennifer Wayman, Gillian Wayman, great nephew Jacob, great nieces Sasha and Heidi.
Alex will be remembered for her love of nature, cats, people, music, theatre, art and song. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten by family, friends, and everyone at the Campbell River and District Association For Community Living.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Greater Victoria Animal Crusaders, Campbell River Food Bank or the Cancer Society. A service of remembrance (with a reception to follow) will be held on Thursday August 15, 2013 at 11:30 AM at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, w228 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River with Reverend Blair Haggart officiating.
