It is with great sadness that we have to announce after a brief illness the passing away of Aleksi.
Born in Finland, he immigrated to Canada at the age of 6 with his now deceased parents Oiva & Annikki Tammenkoski. During his adult years he mastered the art of carpentry, which lead him on many work related adventures throughout Canada.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife of many years Candace, along with his daughter Sheri (Neil) and grandchildren KC, Stephanie, Grace & Matthew.
Aleksi will be forever lovingly remembered by his sister Ingrid (Steve), brother Danny (Susan), and sister-in-law Kim (Jose). He will also be missed by his beloved pets- Petey, Lala, Cindy and Minnie.
Aleksi will be forever remembered as a gentle soul and his playful youthfullness will be missed by all who knew him.
