Aleda Marie
(nee Wadham)
Born October 26, 1929 in Craven, Saskatchewan. Raised in Burnaby, BC, where she met and married Robert Stewart in 1955. Together with their two children, they moved to Campbell River in 1972, where they lived until Robert's passing in 2001. In 2004, Aleda moved to Gibsons, BC to live with her daughter. Sadly, Aleda passed away there on December 6, 2007, after a long struggle with declining health.
She is survived by her daughter Allison Burdett and her son David (Denise) Stewart and her grandchildren Kimberley, Matthew, Ryan (Stewart) and Thomas, Angela, Elise (Burdett), Brother-In-Law Lyle Stewart, Sister-In-Law Audrey Bryson and nieces, nephews and many friends; we will all miss her.
Celebration of Life will be announced and held in early 2008.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
