BURD, ALBERT HENRY
March 19, 1918 – June 04, 2009
Bert passed away in the Campbell River Hospital at the age of 91 years. He was born in Mitcheldever, Manchester, England.
Predeceased by his Wife Christina and Sisters Marian Hill (Reg), Jean Thompson (Doug) and Cathy Etner (Leroy).
He will be fondly remembered by his Step-Daughters Patricia Childs (Kelly), Sharon Lunde (Bob) and Families. Also his Sister Marjorie Isaacson (Nels) and many Nieces and nephews.
Bert spent many years as a papermaker both in Ocean Falls and Campbell River. He enjoyed fishing and then canning his catch, playing Crib and the odd trip to the Casino. He was a Mason with Discovery Lodge No. 149.
Memorial Services will be held at Ocean Crest Community Church, 291 McLean Street, Campbell River, BC on Friday the 12th of June, 2009 at 3.00pm.
