The 19th annual Walk Away From Racism wound its way through downtown Campbell River on Saturday to mark the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racism. The theme of the 2015 Walk Away from Racism focussed on the demolition of St. Michael’s residential school as a significant moment for reconciliation with First Nations in the community of Campbell River.
