The head of Canada's executive branch wished the country a Merry Christmas today, on YouTube.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper took to his official YouTube account – username: pmocpm – today, December 25, to wish the country a Merry Christmas, following B.C. premier Christy Clark and the Queen, who have also both delivered their own holiday addresses.

“This is a wonderful season,” the Prime Minister says in the video. “A time for joyful reunions with family and friends, a time to reflect on our good fortune, and a time to remember those in our midst who have less.

“As we count our many blessings, let us also give a moment to our brave men and women in uniform. I’d ask you to offer a thought and a prayer for them and their families.”
