A vehicle collided into the side of Canton Restaurant Sunday at 12:30 p.m., damaging the front window and building.

Campbell River RCMP said the 85-year-old male driver was not injured in the collision and the restaurant was closed at the time. An investigation revealed that the cause of the collision was driver error.
