Valuable tools, metal stolen

Police were notified Monday of a break-in to a garden shed in the 2500 block of Quinsam Rd.

Numerous tools valued at approximately $4,000 were stolen.

On April 14, Mounties investigated the theft of metals worth more than $6,200 from Selkirk Recycling at 5551 Duncan Bay Rd.

There had been 10 similar thefts of copper and metals in the Campbell River area in the previous three weeks.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
