Two Campbell River representatives join Truck Loggers Association board

Campbell River now has two new representatives on the board of directors of the B.C. Truck Loggers Association.

Bill Nelson of Holbrook Dyson Logging and Dorian Uzzell of Wahkash Contracting were elected during the association’s 74th annual convention earlier this month in Vancouver.

“Of the three new directors who joined the board, two are from Campbell River,” say Mayor Andy Adams.

Mike Richardson, TLA vice-president, is also from CR as are two associate members, George Lambert and Carl Sweet.

“We appreciate knowing that Campbell River voices on the executive help ensure balanced and solid representation for our community as well as the north island and mid-coast region and all of Vancouver Island,” Mayor Adams adds. “We are extremely pleased to have Campbell River so well represented again on the executive as the forest industry continues to be a significant economic driver for our region.”

Campbell River is home to the most TLA members of any BC town at over 80 and growing. The City of Campbell River is a TLA member.
