There are just two weeks left to buy your Because You Care Lottery Ticket, with proceeds supporting two departments at Campbell River Hospital – maternity and emergency.
Each year approximately 400 babies are born at Campbell River Hospital and there are times when a baby needs a higher level of care and must be transported to another hospital; the majority of time the baby can be flown by Air Ambulance.
When flying isn’t possible, a Transport Incubator or Isolette is used. It is attached to a stretcher that will load directly into an ambulance and will provide the warm, safe environment and quick access necessary for optimal neonate care. Caregivers can select temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration of the incubator microenvironment while the Isolette provides continuous data on the temperature of the precious little patient.

The grand prize is $10,000 cash and a $10,000 travel voucher. The second prize is an all-inclusive trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and third prize is a return trip for two to any scheduled West Jet destination.
