Ring in your coin jars, boxes of nickels, whatever you’ve got and just as in previous years, we will buy presents for needy kids with them

The Mirror’s Darcey Wood is ready to receive your coin donations to be turned into presents for needy children. Roll them up and you can win the gift basket from Quality Foods.

Come on Campbell River, it’s time to dig out those pennies and other coins, Coins for Kids (formerly Pennies for Presents) is underway.

Bring in your coin jars, boxes of nickels, whatever you’ve got and just as in previous years, we will buy presents with them – focussing on children – and donate them to the Knights of Columbus Christmas Hamper Fund.

Bring your coins into the Mirror and if they’re rolled, you will be eligible to win a $150-value gift basket provided by Quality Foods.

So, dig out those coins and drop them by the Mirror at 104 - 250 Dogwood St.
