That’s a wrap!

BC Ferries’ newest vessel, the Salish Orca, just finished being wrapped

BC Ferries’ newest vessel, the Salish Orca, just finished being wrapped – over in Poland – in a massive decal adorning the beautiful artwork of Coast Salish artist, Darlene Gait.

The Salish Orca will be BC Ferries’ first natural gas powered ferry.

Depicted with optimistic colour and energy, Gait’s pod of orcas appears as a family moving through the water.

See a 1.13 minute time-lapse video showing the application of the massive decal onto the Salish Orca on the BC Ferries Facebook page.

The Salish Orca will depart Poland this fall under its own power.
