Early this afternoon police responded to a call requesting their assistance and arrived at a house on the 700-block of South Alder Street to find three individuals "in need of medical assistance."
The individuals, according to a release from Cpl. Gord Hay of the Campbell River RCMP, were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
"The RCMP Street Crew Unit is (currently) investigating with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit, Police Dog Service and General Duty Members," the release said.
The release also states the assault was a targeted occurrence and "there is no concern for the general public."
