Sue Moen has been nominated as the B.C. Green Party's candidate for the North Island.
"I am thrilled to accept the nomination as the B.C. Green Party candidate for the North Island," said Moen. "The six Green Principles have guided my life and decision making for more than a decade and I believe these principles serve our democratic process and can contribute to prosperity and sustainability in our communities. The B.C. Green Party has concrete, achievable solutions to our challenges and policy ideas that can be implemented now to improve our future prospects – as individuals, as families, as communities and nations."
Moen was previously the Executive Director at A Loving Spoonful in Vancouver and has seven years' experience as a care-team volunteer in the AIDS community. She is currently a non-profit consultant and community worker with the street-engaged populations of Campbell River.

Moen currently resides in Black Creek and is active in the social services, environmental and political communities on the North Island.
She is currently self-employed as a non-profit consultant and dog care provider and as a community worker with the street-engaged populations of Campbell River.
She owns and operates A Country Life Dog Care, specializing in large and problem dogs and consults to various non-profit organizations for strategic planning, event production, fundraising and communication.
