Runway 2012 will set the stage for this year’s dry grad at Timberline Secondary.

The Grade 12s are working hard to organize the upcoming student fashion show. Eighteen guys and 28 girls are already signed on to model with another 10 students helping out in a variety of ways.

The fashion show, one of the many dry grad event fundraisers, will feature clothing from local shops including Boardwalk, Bird of Paradise/Divas, Bootlegger, Warehouse One, Red Phoenix, Ridgerider, Reitmans, Work World, Ragdolz, Spinners, Intersport, Keep Your Shirt On and the Cinderella Project. Bliss gowns from Nanaimo is also represented and locally-owned Discovery Foods is the corporate sponsor.

There will also be a raffle table with many donated items from other stores in town including Discovery Foods.

Runway 2012 takes place on Tuesday, May 1, in the Timberline gymnasium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 and $10 in advance for students or seniors and adults. They are $10 and $12 at the door.
