Seven people have put their names forward for seats on the Strathcona Regional District board.

Candidates for Area A (Kuquot/Nootka-Sayward): Steve Atkinson and Gerald David Whalley.

Area B (Cortes Island): Noba Anderson.

Area C (Discovery Islands-Mainland Inlets): Jim Abram and Shawn O’Connor.

Area D (Oyster Bay-Buttle Lake): Brenda Leigh and Kellie O’Brien.
