Storm sweep Nanaimo

The Campbell River Storm eliminated the Nanaimo Buccaneers Sunday evening to advance to the final round.

Colin Blake and Braeden Cyra both scored twice in Nanaimo and Colin Blake, Keenan Scardina, Josh Coblenz and Gage Colpron added singles. The score was 6-0 before the Buccaneers put one in the Storm net at 15:50 in the second period. Colpron added the seventh and only goal in the third period.

Now the Storm await the results of the Victoria-Peninsula series. In Victoria the Cougars defeated the Peninsula Panthers 9-3 to take a stranglehold on the series. Game 4 in that series goes tonight.
