Matthijs Bruining, branch manager of RBC Royal Bank (third from left) presented the hospital foundation with funding from the RBC Foundation to purchase a video processor for the endoscopy department at Campbell River hospital.
The machine, which allows physicians to see the progress of a scope, is the second of its kind at the hospital which means one machine will be able to remain in the endoscopy unit at all times instead of being transported between the operating room and intensive care units, which creates a back log in the endoscopy department.
