Police seek all leads in toddler's death

Campbell River youngster lost consciousness at his home and could not be resuscitated at hospital

Police are looking for any lead that may help explain the sudden death of a three-year-old Campbell River boy.

Brandon Terrell Davis Jacobson was found unconscious late Sunday at his home at the Panorama Apartments on Dogwood Street.

Paramedics took the boy by ambulance to Campbell River Hospital, but he could not be revived.

The death is being investigated by Campbell River RCMP and the BC Coroners Service, and police are asking to speak with anyone who saw Jacobson in and around Centennial Park on Saturday.

“Whenever there’s a sudden death, we follow up on every possible lead,” said Staff Sgt. Troy Beauregard.

As of Thursday morning, a cause of death had not been determined.

Centennial Park is located in the 400 block of Alder Street, between 4th and 5th Avenues.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 250-286-6221.
