Tammy Yurkiw of T & T Hair Design (right) shaves Linda Penman’s head at the Seniors’ Centre at Radiant Life Church Thursday afternoon. Yurkiw was joined by fellow Seniors’ Society member Sharon Harper who also had her head shaved. Penman came up with the idea as a way to raise awareness of the Seniors’ Centre and to raise money for the senior’s building fund to purchase or lease its own building. The women together raised $1,000.
