A man charged with breaking into two homes remains in jail until he can perfect bail.
Gregor Ringham, 43, of Campbell River is charged with break and enter to commit mischief, being unlawfully in a dwelling house, and possession of a break-in instrument.
He was arrested by RCMP after they investigated a Nov. 15 break-in at a townhouse complex on Creekside Way. Ringham is also accused of being inside a Holm Road residence.
Following his arrest, Ringham agreed to remain in custody and is presently being held at the Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre in Victoria.
On Monday, he appeared by video in Campbell River provincial court for a bail hearing. Judge John Joe granted bail, but, as of Tuesday, Ringham was still in custody.
