John Horgan, leader of the B.C. NDP and MLA Claire Trevena hosted a Town Hall for Seniors at the Seniors Drop in Centre in Campbell River on Wednesday. After short speeches from both politicians, the approximately 40 attendees had the chance to ask questions and to share their concerns about issues relevant to them. Health care and housing were two major topics brought up by multiple different people at the event. Horgan said, if elected next year, he will be doing away with MSP premiums. Later that day he attended an NDP fundraiser at the Maritime Heritage Museum.
