Getting the message out: The 17th annual Walk Away From Racism wound its way around downtown Saturday after dancers and speeches inside the Community Centre kicked it off.

For the 17th year in a row, people gathered at the Community Centre Saturday to celebrate Campbell River's cultural diversity and to make a statement about ending racial discrimination. They then set off for a peaceful march around the streets of downtown.
