Get involved in Greenways

67167campbellriverGreenwaysAGM
Greenways Land Trust is holding its AGM on March 16 and will feature projects underway

Do you want to become more involved in local green initiatives in Campbell River, then don’t miss out on Greenways upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Learn more about Greenways projects, hear dynamic guest speakers and view two short films via Central West Coast Forest Society.

The short films include Bringing Back the Light that speaks to the methods, the practices and the importance of forest habitat restoration in British Columbia, as well as Everything Is One an insightful film that highlights stream ecology and the restoration work on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

Guest Speaker, Warren Warttig RPBio, whom is featured in the films, will be on hand to answer your questions.

These films are especially relevant to Campbell River given our passion for the Beaver Lodge Forest Lands and importance of salmon habitat restoration.

A short election of the Greenways Board of Directors will be held as well.  Everyone is welcome to enjoy this evening, however you must be a Greenways member to vote or be elected!
