Expect delays on South Island Highway, Nov. 24 to 26

Temporary, alternating traffic between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., north of Rotary Beach Park

Travelling on the South Island Highway might take a bit longer than usual over the next three days.

The city is warning drivers should expect minor delays due to temporary, due to temporary, single lane alternating traffic along the South Island Highway (in front of 536 South Island Highway, north of Rotary Beach Park). It will be affected from Wednesday, Nov. 24 to Friday, Nov. 26 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Contractors will be working in this area to install the services to a new multi-family unit.

Drivers are being asked to follow all directions on signs and from traffic control personnel.

To avoid delays, please use alternative routes if possible.
