An enthusiastic crowd of polar bear swimmers attended the annual New Year's Day event at Saratoga Beach today.
The annual Polar Bear Swim is a traditional start to the New Year in the Campbell River area. Sunny skies and calm waters made for a beautiful morning as the celebrants dashed into the waters of Georgia Straight at noon.
