Nanaimo carver Dan Richey makes the trip up to Brown’s Bay, just north of Campbell River on Highway 19, every year on B.C. Day weekend to show off his skills and promote his work, joining other local artists – who are familiar to Transformations on the Shore fans – in the marina parking lot to create works for the resort.
