Crowds gathering on the foreshore on Canada Day in anticipation of the Quality foods Festival of Lights fireworks display were treated to a lunar display as well as the full moon rose over Quadra Island and shone alongside the fireworks show. It was a beautiful cap to a spectacular national day of celebration.
