Police report increase in tips from the public

Campbell Riverites are keeping an eye out for criminal activity more and more these days.

"The Campbell River RCMP would like to thank the public for calling in suspicious activity," said Cpl. Poppy Hallam. "We have seen an increase in the amount of tips received by this office, many are valuable, and we are following all leads."

Break and Enter at Lordco

 

Overnight Tuesday November 11, 2014 and into the early morning of Wednesday Nov. 12, suspect(s) cut the chain link fence into the compound at Lordco Parts Ltd at 730 13th Avenue.

It doesn't appear as though anything was taken and it is believed the crime may have been interrupted.

Theft of Limousine

 

Someone stole a white Lincoln Town Car Limousine from a residence in the 100 block of South McLean Street, overnight Wednesday, Nov. 12, or early into the morning of Thursday, Nov. 13.

That same limousine was located abandoned on a logging road on Nov. 13.  Tips have come in from the public and Campbell River RCMP are following all leads.

Break, Enter and Theft to Island Return It Campbell River

 

Island Return It Campbell River located at 1580 Willow Street was broken into overnight Thursday, Nov. 13 and into the early morning of Friday, Nov. 14.

The suspect(s) made entry into the business and caused significant damage and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public's assistance for information about this crime.
