BC Ferries offers break on summer routes to the Mainland

BC Ferries announced today the “Size up the Savings” promotion is back this year, just in time for summer vacation planning.

The 2016 promotion will run for 33 days longer and includes over 500 additional discounted sailing opportunities, increasing the total number from 443 in 2015 to over 990 this summer.

Between June 1 and Sept. 30, customers with private passenger vehicles longer than 20 feet will pay $3.25 per additional foot (regularly $6.50) on two Vancouver Mainland to Vancouver Island routes; the Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay and the Tsawwassen – Duke Point routes.

The 50 per cent off promotion is applicable in both directions of travel on select  times on select routes.

Space on the selected sailings is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are recommended to ensure a spot on the sailing of choice.
