Alcohol likely a factor in single-vehicle crash in Campbell River

A woman in her thirties sustained injuries in a single-vehicle accident in the evening of Sept. 27. 

A woman in her thirties sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash when the car she was driving collided with a tree and a building after leaving a parking lot in the 100 block of Dogwood Street, just before 9 p.m. on Sept. 27. 

Alcohol is believed to be involved, says Const. Maury Tyre of the Campbell River RCMP in an email. The RCMP are conducting an impaired driving investigation. 

The woman is anticipated to make a full recovery.
